Tommy Bowden talks shit, still sucks

Tommy Bowden was unhappy with the questioning he received after beating Furman last Saturday. Furman actually outplayed Clemson in a couple of areas, and reporters wanted to know what Bowden thought about it.

"We won. That’s not something Lloyd Carr can say," Bowden said.

Tommy, can you hear me?

You're 63-38 at Clemson.

Tommy, can you see me?

You've lost less than 4 games in a season exactly once.

All those coaches who are allowed to make fun of Lloyd Carr please step forward.

Right this way, Coach Carroll. Nice to see you again, Coach Tressell.

Not so fast, Coach Bowden.

You know, not to nitpick, but Lloyd Carr actually can say that this week. Granted they didn’t beat a team of Furman’s stature, but it’s still a win.

I wonder whether Tommy, Terry, or Bobby is, on average, the one Mama Bowden considers the most embarassing.

Bowdens are certainly riding dadduh’s coattails but no one has flushed talent down the toilet like good ol sour grapes curmudgeon Carr. If Mack doesnt get another NC soon they will be saying the same thing about him

I think just playing in (and losing) a BCS title game should pretty much move Mack out of the Lloyd and Phil Club and into the Bob and Jim Club.

How Mack gets the ’horns into another BCS title game is beyond me at this point, but who knows?

ANOTHER GREAT IDEA FOR HENRY….SINCE CLEMSON STUDENT REQUIRMENTS HAVE GONE UP SO MUCH…..WHY DON’T WE LEAVE THE ACC AND JOIN THE IVY LEAGUE. THEN IF WE SCHEDULE OUR NON CONFERENCE GAMES RIGHT….WE CAN GO UNDEFEATED AGAIN AND YOU WOULD BE HAPPY. PLAY THE SAME SUCK TYPE TEAMS WE DID IN THE 80’S IN THE SAME SUCK CONFERENCE.
