Good article in The Birmingham News today about Alabama coach Nick Saban and how he self scouts. The writer also has a bit more information on his blog.
Saban says he does it for two reasons:
1. To figure out what is and isn't working
2. To figure out his own tendencies
Now before all you Texas fans start sending it to Mack Brown and Greg Davis, I'd like to remind you that Texas defeated LSU in the 2002 Cotton Bowl.
