Franchione gets $4.4 million buyout from A&M
Board of Regents approved it today.
Would have been $8.5 million if not for Franchione's email scam. Like anyone is going to help him get skill position players out of Nigeria.
Franchione will get $1.7 million in the first year of the buyout. New Aggie coach Mike Sherman will make $1.8 million a year over 7 years.

Hello Friend. I will send you Defensive End if you give me your bank account number and pin security code.

So the VIP Connection cost him $4.1 million in the end. Great venture. Let’s see, subtract off that loss the revenue he received from it…12 x $1200…nevermind. One of the worst business ventures in recent memory.

Or you could say that Franchione just got $4.4M to leave College Station ….. that sounds like a great deal to me.

This has nothing to do with Fran but get a load of who won the award at the banquet for outstanding linebackers:
Rashad Bobino
Scott Derry
Robert Killebrew
I wish I was joking.

“The program also included awards at each position group. On the defensive side of the ball, Brian Orakpo, Aaron Lewis and Lamarr Houston were named the team’s Outstanding Defensive Ends. The Outstanding Linebacker award was shared by Rashad Bobino, Robert Killebrew and Scott Derry. For Bobino and Killebrew, this was the second consecutive year they took the honor.”
OMFG

miles, please tell me that this list is something you made up… If not, this sums up what we already knew about Mack. It ain’t about winning, it is about making everyone feel good.
