According to the Los Angeles Times.
He's making about $1 million a year as the Titans offensive coordinator, and Karl Dorrell's UCLA contract was $850,000 plus incentives.
Hard to compete against Pete Carroll on that salary.
Other candidates to replace Dorrell include Greg Davis. Davis is also a candidate to replace Chow if he leaves the Titans.

Ricky Williams also was better under Davis than he was in the NFL. Why the NFL hasn’t snatched up Davis at this point is anyone’s guess.

b.j. johnson was much better under davis than in the pros as well. hell jason glynn didn’t even make it to the pros yet he played a lot under davis. davis just brings out the best in every player…
