Notes:
- I really don’t believe there’s 5 SEC teams in the top 11, but that’s how it turned out when I was done.
- Very impressed with Oregon this week.
- I moved Illinois up and I believe if they played Wisconsin tomorrow, they would kick their ass. Yet, somehow I didn’t have the balls to switch those two. I may switch them in the next 2 or 3 weeks.
- I wanted to be the first guy to jump on the Paul Johnson bandwagon.

Also, a big game this week as UCLA visits BYU….and it’s not even 1981.

You can see how the AP writers voted at Pollspeak.
Jon Wilner of the San Jose Mercury News actually dropped Texas from #21 to #23.

Meet Taylor Zarzour, the only dude with two Z’s in his last name that isn’t a stateside member of Al Qaeda. Tay Z is a renegade fringe voter hailing from Raleigh, NC with a hard-on for the Big 10 and apparently lost a huge bet once on West Virginia.
Life’s a breeze in Taylorville.
-They’re just picks
-I could be wrong
-You could be wrong
-Its just for fun. Russell Wilson being strapped on a gurney was serious. Thankfully he’s going to be okay. Making football picks is not serious.
So lets have fun….
At your expense. Nice poll douchebag.

Wilner also has Mizzou and Bama at 1 and 2, with LSU at 16 and Kansas unranked! I wonder sometimes if these guys watch the same games the rest of us do.
But Adam Van Brimmer from the Savannah (GA) Morning News takes the cake for extreme voters. Check his poll out while you’re over there. Bama at #2, South Florida unranked, UCLA in the top 15, and so on….

Molly Yanity of the Seattle Post-Intelligencer has LSU #1, Kansas #6 and Boston College ranked ahead of OU.

She is also the leading vote getter for “Good Voters” on that site. Go figure.
