Free recruiting info

Most recruiting information around the internets is premium content. That means you have to pay for it Texas Tech grads. So when I do find something free, I try to pass it on. Not really. But this time I will so you're welcome.

Looks like BurntOrangeBeat is reporting that Texas is hosting junior wide receiver Demarco Cobbs of Tulsa, Indian Territory for the A&M game. Dude's got offers from Tech, Tulsa and Arkansas, but what do they know about throwing the ball? He looks legit though, and it's good to confirm that Texas is recruiting early and out of state.

Does Davis plan to use him as an integral part of the Q package?

We better make sure he’s not pulling some Ron McKelvey shit. He looks to be about 40.

Actually, HJ, we Tech grads are quite familiar with the meaning of “Premium Content…”

It’s just a term we’re more used to seeing in the Internet Porn arena, that’s all.

Chicago – those premium links will be on the Jumbtron next year in Austin. Toll free for starters.

Harrell will be gone. So who is throwing to the penalty-free non-holding-TTU OL sprung Grabtree next year?

…but I repeat myself.

HornBorn55 – Premium Web content, be it athletic recruiting or porn sites, are primarily subscription-based per month, so a “toll-free” situation would be obsolete in such a medium.

However, I do think a “pay-as-you-go” plan would be a favorable option for any 18+ adult-website patron.

To answer your question-it’s early to tell, but I’ve heard Seattle wants him-I think? I guess it’ll be Hasselbeck or Seneca Wallace throwing to the penalty-free, non-holding-TTU OL sprung Grabtree next year.

Graham Harrell might be throwing to Quan Cosby for the Chicago Rush or Philadelphia Soul…

Don’t worry guys, I’m not getting any delusions of grandeur about Tech… Next year, we’ll promise to reclaim our seat towards the back of the Big XII South bus… Sure we might try to grab a window seat towards the front from time to time, but really don’t think anyone has anything to worry about… We’ll be just fine with the GalleryFurniture.com Bowls…

Ah, bull…
Tech has a great window this year for sure, but your recruiting has definitely picked up the last few years, and I suspect it will pick up even more no matter how the rest of this year plays out…

Long as Captain Leach stays there (which is the big question…), Tech will not be anywhere near “the back of the Big XII South bus”.
