Phil Fulmer, Mike Stoops, David Hasselhoff
One will sing the National Anthem at the Las Vegas Bowl. The other two are rumored to be in the mix for the Iowa State job.
I'll let you decide which is which.

Dude. I heard the key selling point is that he would channel his mother, the car for offensive line coach.

He’s totally cool with leaving his corners on islands, because if they get in trouble he can save them.

Well I’m glad Mack does not recruit out of state much, because ISU is about to lock down the German recruiting market.

Does Techno Viking have any eligibility left?

I’ve been known to call an effective blitz or two in my time.

I’d pay good money to see Techno Viking crush McGee, do a little shimmy in celebration, and then point his finger ordering McGee to go quietly and humbly back to his sideline.
In other news, Dieter Bauer, #7 on the Berlin Ausgezeichnet Funfundfunzig, just committed to the Cyclones.

So if ISU hires Mike Stoops, you have the following conference ties:
OU: coached by Bob Stoops
TT: Leach was OC under Stoops
KU: Mangino was OC under Stoops
NU: Pellini was DC under Stoops
ISU: Stoops is Stoops’ brother
KSU: Snyder hired Stoops as DC
OSU: Gundy’s brother works for Stoops
Mizzou: OU AD Castglione came from here
Basically, on any football issue in the Big 12, where OU and UT have opposing views, we’re screwed.

Well, TaylorTRoom, it’s like Castiglione says, it’s “Our Thing.”

Don’t worry, we’ll start evening those numbers out once Davis accepts one of the many head coaching jobs he is offered every year. Only a matter of time.

“Our Thing” is a myth propogated to sell books and movies. It does not exist.

TaylorT, it will make you even more suspicious of the Stoops Fraternity when you learn that Venables took trip to balmy Lincoln last week to watch Florida film with Bo.
News like this makes the Coaches Poll even more depressing than it was.

TTR:
One more thing… Art Briles coached under Mike Leach at Tech. Not a direct tie to Stoops, but certainly explains his vote of putting Texas at #5 on his final ballot.

Mizzou: OU AD Castglione came from here
I doubt his defection from Mizzou left Mizzou beholden to OU in any way.

I guess you guys are disappointed UT lost its mole in Ames….

Wow. You people keep this up and they’re gonna have to spend some of the TARP money to put Thorazine in the Texas water supply.

They hired Rhoads, the former Auburn DC. Go figure.
