So if ISU hires Mike Stoops, you have the following conference ties:

OU: coached by Bob Stoops
TT: Leach was OC under Stoops
KU: Mangino was OC under Stoops
NU: Pellini was DC under Stoops
ISU: Stoops is Stoops’ brother
KSU: Snyder hired Stoops as DC
OSU: Gundy’s brother works for Stoops
Mizzou: OU AD Castglione came from here

Basically, on any football issue in the Big 12, where OU and UT have opposing views, we’re screwed.

One more thing… Art Briles coached under Mike Leach at Tech. Not a direct tie to Stoops, but certainly explains his vote of putting Texas at #5 on his final ballot.
