FWIW, I found out this week that the Italian Scooby-Doo speaks complete sentences. Not just “rut-row,” but things like “Shaggy, I think there’s someone standing in that closet and I don’t want to open it just now.” All in a country dialect. So, there’s hope for us all in the cartoon world.
