PrintA while back, Scipio took a look at The Wonderful World of Martellus Bennett.
Marty has most recently ventured into short fiction (or has been hanging out with Ken Kesey). One of his most recent blog posts entitled I found them.... is stunning. It is the stuff of legend. I have alerted the PEN/O. Henry prize people. We have also invited him to join the Barkers.

For a brother who is down with the fried chicken, Martellus sure does have the imagination of a geeky white guy. A black dude, not to mention a black athlete, making paleontology jokes is almost unheard of, about as fucking common as a modern day kenta-b.s.-asaurus. It’s fucking amazing. Could be a ghost writer channeling his promo message through Martellus the “duh” football player.
