Tony Kornheiser Out At MNF
Kornheiser says he hates to fly, and there were too many cross-country trips for him.
His replacement?

Couldn’t he borrow the Maddencruiser? Or perhaps Korn’s tour bus? They broke up, didn’t they?

As bad as TK was in the MNF booth, he was that good doing his radio show, particularly the last reincarnation of the show that he was doing part time. Hopefully this means a return to the radio for him.

Good to see Kornheiser gone.
Gruden should be fun if he does not go corporate on us (bring the intensity, Jon!).

Glad to get that whiny yankee off MNF. Will never forgive him for his ignorant statement that Augie should have been fired after Runner-Upgate at the CWS.

This is the one who only ever complains about his neighbors, and his hair (or lack thereof), and his fellow broadcasters, right?
He writes well enough but he always seems like a last minute replacement who’s bored when they bring him on MNF. Glad to see him gone.

Chuckie’s a good caddie and a better drinkin’ pardner.

man, I don’t know if I’d have been able to name Kornheiser as one of the announcers if you’d asked… what a far cry from MNF’s heyday.
Kornheiser, Dennis Miller, wasn’t Rush Limbaugh supposedly in line to do it too? I believe Howard Cosell’s moldy carcass could probably still do a better broadcast than anyone they’ve tried in the last 20 years…

This is an excellent description. I’ll add that he doesn’t seem to know a whole lot about sports.

It’s tough to know anything about sports when you’re in bed by 6:30 after watching Wheel Of Fortune every night.

Thank God. I’ve been muting MNF ever since he has been on there.

I don’t think Chucky is the man for the job either.

The terrorists have already won.

I really like the way ESPN/ABC has gone with its announcer combinations and hiring practices for MNF. That Daniel Snyder management clinic really paid off.

Dennis Miller was better than the current perception… WAY better than Kornholer.
I fucking hate Disney.
