Season opener is on pay-per-view
The kickoff for the season opener against Louisiana-FEMA Trailer has been set for 6pm. And it's on pay-per-view. Allsome.
As if I didn't need any more incentive to watch Texas pistol whip a bunch of dudes who weren't good enough to play at Louisiana-Lafayette and who will be working casino security after graduation.
In a year that Texas is expected to compete for a national championship, our opening game will not be televised. I wonder if Oklahoma-BYU will be on tv?

Western Kentucky vs. Tennessee, will be on the SEC Network while Jackson State vs. Mississippi State will be on ESPNU, so we got that going for us.

Which has more viewers on pay-per-view? This or the Trips Right v. Ipower cage match?

What is the over/under number on shots of Kiffin’s wife in their game?

I can probably get you an extra ticket if you promise not to pop your collar.

Outstanding! Because last year’s PPV experience was so stellar.

Trips, Can I still wear my polo under starched button down?

Clearly these things are more profitable than free tv or they wouldn’t keep doing them.

They are because no matter how much we bitch, most of us are going to buy it if we’re not at the game.

But hey, I’m excited about the rest of the home games:
Louisiana Monroe
Texas Tech
UTEP
Colorado
Central Florida
Kansas
Well, maybe two of them. Okay, just one of them and it rhymes with Blexas Blech.

Fuck that. I’m going to schedule some special online time and then grab a nap instead. I guarantee it will be more entertaining.

Watch the O-State Georgia game. If necessary, you can adjust the color on your TV so that OSU has special pumpkin shade of orange.

I just happened to be checking out ESPN/ABC update CFB TV schedule yesterday and it lists ABC for both OSU-UGA and Baylor-Wake at 3:30 eastern on the 5th. That’s right, if you do the math, the Texas markets will almost certainly get Baylor-Wake. Seems to me the conference could’ve done something to avoid this. …and ILL/Mizz is also at the same time on ESPN.

Monroe is in North Louisiana you moron. No FEMA trailers in Ouachita Parrish.
And I live in Nashville…
