Yankee Bowl
Seriously. That's the name of the close to reality bowl game that would open up play after the 2010 season in Yankee Stadium. Tentatively slated to pit the 4th Big East team against the 7th Big 12 selection.

“close to reality” has an awesome ring to it. It should be copyrighted and article tagged, as it would come in handy for most of us here:
“I went only 2 of 9 against the spread, but I was close to reality” (etc.)

That’s a pricey trip to watch such a shitty game.

Great. So a 6-6 Big 12 team gets a slot in a bowl in a baseball park.
This is SO MUCH BETTER than a playoff system!!!

I can foresee the B12 teams trying to avoid this trip big time. I don’t care that it’s NYC.

Note to the organizers: NYC weather in mid-December is generally cold and shitty.
