man even his Tweets sound like rehearsed fodder for WWE matches…

If Tennessee could throw the ball, they would have a shot at knocking off florida today.

I’d like to buy a verb, Mr. Sajak.

“I dare someone to take me lightly Just cuz I feel bad and my head hurts doesn’t mean I can’t choke you. Word of advise don’t take me lightly” – BCSLAM
If this guy isn’t on some kind of a watch list, I’d be surprised. Now that I think about it, isn’t “choke” what these guys got away with doing to our OL last year in Lubbock? Is the Big 12 calling holds (or “face rape”) this year?
“I’m so tired of being sick. My body aches, my head kills, I can’t sleep. I got tested for swine flu this morning :( I hate being sick” – BCSLAM
I know this is twitter and all – and I’m not all that familiar with it – but he sure seems to hit what looks like a per-tweet character limit an awful lot.

Lane Kiffin should be fired!!! His offense blows just like it did in Oakland. Who was the last Raider coach to leave the NFL and go to Nebraska? I forgot already.
Lane will get his 3 or 4 years, teasing the Vol faithful enough to keep him around with his brash talk and smokin’ hot wife. She is worth 3 years at least.
In similar news, Charlie Weiss has managed to keep Michigan State in this game long enough that you wonder if Notre Dame will ever climb its way back to prominence. So many years as a mediocre program and you wonder if Catholics care anymore. I guess it is like waiting for the Second Coming-keep the faith and maybe we will get Urban Meyer when Tebow goes pro. What else does he have to prove at Florida?

Thanks Dad for keeping us in the game. You are the real head coach. Too bad you had to wait until you were 60 and then get called your son’s assistant.

I can’t find it live, but Washington is up. I love that. By the way, OU still has a pretty good team and I think they will roll Miami next week.

Nebraska’s quarterback is awful. But I really like Helu — he looks like an NFL back to me.

Holy Mother of Mercy! Are you fu!#%% kidding me. Weiss is horrible. Why couldn’t he get Monte Kiffin. Great link Rip. At least he has that to lick his wounds after all of the losses they will have this year.

13-13 U-Dub and USC. about five minutes left.

Where are you watching it? I can’t find it anywhere and want to see UW win it here.

Touchdown Jesus! 5 minutes for Notre Dame to find a way to lose.

now if USC or anyone can knock off cal we won’t have to worry about the PAC 10

Bo Pelini is a fucking idiot – why punt on 4th and 1 from the VaTech 35 when they have no timeouts remaining? Gotta go for the win there IMO.
by commish on Sep 19, 2009 5:51 PM CDT reply actions
Better yet — Utah lost. So now they can beat BYU and everyone can shut the hell up about Mormon teams, finally.

ESPN tries to spin Washington’s win as evidence of “the strength of the PAC-10, top to bottom.” Ha.

As a Husker fan, I’m even more incensed by 1) calling 30+ passing plays with a below-average QB when our rushing game is gashing them for 6 ypc, and 2) going into an NFL-style shell, calling low-yield plays when 1 first down would have iced the game. It looked like we were just trying not to turn the ball over… good god.

How long do we have to suffer the mid-sentence trail-offs of Lou Holtz’s senile dementia?
Put this guy in a hospice and bring Trev Alberts back.
by Colby on Sep 19, 2009 6:31 PM CDT reply actions
They don’t want Trev Alberts back. He is no Keith Olbermann Leftist freak. I love watching Mark May patronize Lou Holtz. It is classic. What would we do with our Dr. Lou?
by Hank Dudek on Sep 19, 2009 6:47 PM CDT reply actions
Dudek, why dont we just stick to football and leave the politics out of it. If I need to know your opinions on politics, I’ll listen to Rush Limbaugh.
by jwelchtex on Sep 19, 2009 6:54 PM CDT reply actions
That doesn’t even make sense. Why would ESPN want Alberts to be a “leftist freak” ? Is ESPN suddenly leftist? The network that had Rush Limbaugh around until he went all racist on-air? Olbermann works for MSNBC and NBC, not ESPN.
by Woody Bombay on Sep 19, 2009 7:02 PM CDT reply actions
Your right Trev Alberts didn’t get fired because he refused to apologize for a conservative comment he made and ABC is not a liberal media outlet-my bad!!
by Hank Dudek on Sep 19, 2009 7:05 PM CDT reply actions
And Holtz, ESPN’s employee, is a right-wing loon.
So.

Football = good. Paranoic political rantings = bad.
There are plenty of Aggie boards for that nonsense. Let’s keep it on football.
by ghostofagroundgame on Sep 19, 2009 7:08 PM CDT reply actions
Please STFU about ABC being fucking “liberal” you twit. ABC is the most “conservative” of all the networks. End of story.
Please confine your bullshit ignorance to football from here on.
by pacocharte on Sep 19, 2009 7:16 PM CDT reply actions
Next you’ll be telling us that the New York Times is liberal, Hank. I mean give me a break.
BTW FSU is moving the ball at will against BYU. 10-11 on 3rd downs.
by bigdukesix on Sep 19, 2009 8:31 PM CDT reply actions
Ghost, nice comment about those stupid Mormons! Football only, right. I agree that we can leave politics out of it but I did not realize I had Keith Olberman’s fan club in here. My comment was more about the fact that Trev Alberts should still be there but he’s not and that was more about politics than his broadcasting. Alberts and May were fun to listen to because they both had passionate views.
By the way, I have never listened to Rush Limbaugh a day in my life and having him on ESPN was a joke. How can you tell a guy with that many opinions to shut his mouth. Good thing for Rush he makes enough money with his day job.
Now, back to sports.
by Hank Dudek on Sep 19, 2009 10:22 PM CDT reply actions
But where did this “Trev Alberts got fired because of his political views” crap come from? He got fired for being a prissy prima donna.

I was making an off the cuff reference to Utah and BYU, and I did not call either one of them “stupid.” I just don’t want some out of nowhere and playing nobody team fucking up the national title picture. Not sure how that is political, but if you are Mormon and were offended please accept my apologies. I’m insulting the significance of your state’s schools, not their religion.
