Tennessee Freshman Accused of Attempted Armed Robbery
One of the players involved, Nu'Keese Richardson, was at the center of the recruiting controversy earlier this year when Lane Kiffin accused Florida's Urban Meyer of cheating on his recruiting of Richardson.
Richardson hails from Pahokee, Fla. which earlier this week was the subject of a USA Today article that paints Pahokee as a troubled town that lives through its HS football team.

“Kiffin has touted the discipline in his program and a clean arrest record as recently as Wednesday’s SEC teleconference.”
Let the fun begin in Knoxville.

I’ve got a big customer in West Palm Beach and have to drive over to Ft. Myers every once in a while. Dude told me one time to just go as far away from Pahokee as you can. Apparently, they built a big ass toll road with a moat that they call “Alligator Alley” just to avoid the region. Florida is a weird state.

The gatorbait board has maintained since before Nu’keese committed to Tennessee that they were buying him. They have stayed steadfast in that opinion and the word recently was that he was unhappy at UTenn and was going to leave anyway. Looks like he might leave wearing bright orange anyway.

“The three men got into a 2010 Toyota Prius driven by a woman and fled the area.”

After a careful review of security camera footage, SEC referees have overturned the arrest, citing inconclusive evidence. All 3 will be eligible for next weeks game.

Since they don’t play for Florida and Alabama it’s more likely that the refs will confirm their guilt and pin the hoffa murder and losing the civil war on them

From a local newspaper:
A Volunteer TV News photographer on the scene captured the suspects while they were being identified. At least one of them wore a black University of Tennessee t-shirt with an orange Adidas logo and the phrase "impossible is nothing."

Scroll down at the end of the USA Today article past the first few comments. There’s an awesome FAIL about Kiffin’s discipline having a good effect on Richardson that was posted 2 days ago.

My first reaction is that these are 3 freshman — so could this be some kind of initiation thing? Whether into a fraternity, some club in Knoxville, or whatever. While I’ve never heard of armed robbery with a pellet gun as pledge task/initiate right, I certainly am aware of a few cases of grand larceny and some felony battery (the latter usually perpetrated by the initators).
Maybe there is just no explaining it, but it seems weird these guys would rob some random broke ass students outside of a 7-11 with a pellet gun in the middle of football seasonunless they were egged on to do so. But who knows, maybe that’s just how the Vols roll on a Thursday night.

Lanes comments were pretty amusing. “Well, we made it 11 months with an incident.” Haha.

Much praise to my young African American brothers rolling in a Prius and redistributing the ill-gotten gains of the evil oil company.
