McCoy wins the Walter Camp Award. Again.

Colt McCoy repeats as the Walter Camp Football Foundation Player of the Year. Congratulations on winning an award that CTJ claims is more prestigious than the Heisman.

I kid. Ricky won it in 1998, and now Colt wins it again. And this shit does matter, not least of all for recruiting. When you give a recruit a tour of your trophy case, it's nice to have some big ones (that's what she said).

Earl Thomas and Jordan Shipley didn’t win. They look piiiiiiiissed.

He won Davy O’Brien? He must really smell by this point.

I was trying to help you, but you’re just a BLOGGER.

A JOURNALIST would know that they do not award Davey O’Brien’s actual decomposing corpse to the winner.

This is not a George Romero movie.

So Bobby Bowden hasn’t been dead for the last five years?

by HenryJames on Dec 10, 2009 7:03 PM CST reply actions

deserved, but earl got straight up robbed

by greg davis on Dec 10, 2009 7:04 PM CST reply actions

You know who else got robbed? My neighbor. Like two weeks ago. I think everything they took was replaceable though.

I keep waiting for Suh to thank the Texas offensive line for sealing his wins in all these awards.

by Sasha is a Longhorn Dog on Dec 10, 2009 7:07 PM CST reply actions

Suh should send a thoughtful note with just a hint of CK One on it.

Chris Hall would probably appreciate frankincense more.

Clipper Cooper is pissed that a guy named Chas Henry didn’t win the Ray Guy.

Henry James is disappointed that he’s never been awarded A Guy.

McCoy said later that any taxes on the award would be paid “promptly by April 16th.”

I now hope Ingram wins the Heisman.

The Walter Camp is an orgy in bronze. I love it. Ricky said it was his favorite. Because if you can hold it out and keep your arm straight, you are a man.

parlin = win.

Before this evening, I was 100% sure Ray Guy was dead. I’d ask for clarification, but there he was on my TV, talking, and being really non-dead.

Parlin, I laughed.

What is Myrrh anyway?

by SantosLHalper on Dec 10, 2009 11:33 PM CST reply actions

It’s smelly sap, Santos. You know, you coulda just typed those five letters into a search engine and had your answer pronto instead of typing triple more and waiting for my tardy reply.

That’s from Life of Brian. Guess that’s why they call you OldTimeHorn.
