Per Gerry Hamilton and as Recruitocosm predicted back around May. Anyone heard of him?

WOAI News reported on 10 pm newscast that they spoke with Brown on the phone and he confirmed he’s committed to Texas.

Brown’s commitment made my week. I’m a little concerned with his weight, though. His coach is claiming he weighs in at 224lbs right now. He is 6’1" but that’s still a lot for a kid his age. From watching his junior and sophomore films it doesn’t look like his frame can hold much more good weight than that. I guess I’m just a little cautious after the Whaley fiasco. I’m looking forward to watching Brown play this year to see how he performs with that added weight. If he doesn’t lose any quickness or top end speed, he is going to be a beast!

He doesn’t look at pound over 210 to me. He’s got a weird build. Not muscular, not fat. Great get.
cmdr, that Malcolm Brown might be a tougher recruitment than this one.

The horns plan to switch to a more balanced attack was reported to be a big factor in Brown’s decision. Wow, fantastic news!

Many think that this increases our chances of getting Green now.
Finishing with Rasco and Green would not suck.

Geeen would be a great get because he has elite speed and if you forgot what that will do for you go back and watch Jamal’s highlight reels on youtube and see how many big games he saved or put away with one tote of the rock from 75 , 80 and 86 yards.

If Green comes too do we have any shot at Gray? With Brown in, I think we cool the jets with Green, see what both Gray and Green do this fall, and then make a decision. Then look for RB’s named Black and Blue for the next couple classes.

Per Mack Brown’s rule, vage-rubbing for 2012 RB’s can not commence until the 2011 class has signed.

There’s a new back in play for 2012. Check out Recruitoscosm’s Weekly report.
