Though I'd say some our drives might better be described as inanimate, this makes me laugh in a gallows humor sort of way.

Our first drive is particularly inept. Very little solid line, lots of dashed lines. The first line is actually so short, it looks like a dashed line. As if we punted on first down, which in hindsight might have made sense.

Props to Rocky Top Talk who also had a rough weekend.

So,

We had 13 drives.
We punted on 8/13.
We were intercepted on 1/13.
We reached the endzone on 2/13.
We scored a field goal on 2/13.
We crossed the 50 yard line only 3 times in 13 drives. The other time we reached the OU side of the field was when they gave it to us there, on their own 45, which allowed us to convert our last field goal.

IIRC, GD began his collegiate coaching career as QB coach at agy – if that wasn’t the beginning, it was close to it. Surely there’s a yearbook pic from those daze that would be better than this one… or maybe a morph would be in order…
