Scip—-enjoyed the clinic—-very well done with first class material. Should have kept notes because had several comments/questions at the time but these damn senior moments raise the price of poker.

Two points that make option offenses get water out of a different well:

1) make sure you cover their strongside G and T with a true 2 and 4 technique (I actually covered both G’s and T’s but then I didn’t have to face the same passing game)—-this eliminates blocking down (veer) or out (mid-line) and makes them read a different position (area) that they haven’t had any experience dealing with along with reading an area they aren’t comfortable making sound adjustments against.

2) set two hard spots (8 techniques but off the LOS) in the stovepipes that will be a real problem to assign in the blocking scheme—-take away their QB running and they become a power grinder without LOS changers in their front wall.

Would like to have asked Chris his thoughts about coach D’s sound blocking schemes in the running game thru the years…..

Finally, Paul admits to being an occasional critic…….you tricky devil.

Good program.

Um, I would just like to say that I suggested this 10 months ago, and even put forth the idea of having Chris Brown do these specifically. So the question is, when do I get my own totebag and hairless Vietnamese boy?

Vasherized has both in abundance.

Great. I have to follow Chris Brown?

I have to follow Chris Brown?

Yes. Scipio is our Longhron Deity and Chris Brown is his prophet.

Really enjoyed this. Always funny to hear someones voice you’ve read for a bit.

Maybe you two can break down Mike Sherman’s offensive genius at some point.

If you think it’s funny to hear these guys, you should try looking at them.

Thanks, amigo. If we do a podcast with you, we’ll call it Ultra Smart Football.

Speaking of – have any interest in lowering your standards and popping on with us sometime?

maninblack -

He’ll be back. He has his own empire to run though.

t1climb1 -

You did indeed. What would you have us do next?

Vulcan -

That’s what Rihanna said.

bizzle -

I’m not going to make fun of anyone’s offense right now.

Don’t hate me because I’m beautiful.

Scip,

The first one’s free, from here on out my nuggets of wisdom will cost you.

This was fantastic.

Also, you don’t know how much these podcasts have improved my drive home from work by keeping me from stupidly – and always regrettably – tuning into Ketchum’s show.

Many thanks for making these available on iTunes.
