Podcast #22: The Hog Call Where Blake Talks Texas/Nebraska And The NFL Concussion Discussion
Glad to have a call with Blake where we were able to talk about some positive notes on the O side of the ball. Though there is still a lot of room for improvement, the longest journey begins with just a single blah blah blah blah...
Also, you must stick around till the end of the conversation for Blake's takes on the NFL and the sturm und drang around the concussion discussion.

“The only reason I watch is to see people getting laid out like that.” Best guy ever.
Serious note, and a possible follow-up for Blake – For the most part, I agree with the opinions expressed about the dangerous nature of football, but the force of the collisions and potential collisions in today’s NFL is beyond anything ever seen. Fatal injuries are realistic possibilities. Justifying inaction with “football players make a lot of money and know the risks of the game” is irresponsible to the players, their friends and families, the fans, and future of the game. So what can be done?

Yeah, I’m sure he can go on a hell of a rant about how nfl.com was selling pictures on their website of some of the very same hits the league fined guys over.
