Kenny Britt Has Me At Hello

The Titans best wide receiver wore this in last night's game vs. the Colts for the following reason:
a) Because the team is, as Jeff Fisher claims, 100% behind the decision to isolate VY.
b) The Titans were all out of clean towels
c) Britt hates porn staches
d) VY is the unquestioned leader of that football team.
I'll go with D. In the VY era the Titans have something like a 26-9 record when Young starts and a 14-15 record when he doesn't. There's no doubt that guys want to go to war with Young and there's little doubt that Fisher is probably done after this year as a result.
Again, and as always, Vincent Paul Young. Number 10. Forever.

Vince Young. Forever. Unconditionally.
How have the Titans been doing since Vince stopped being their QB anyway? I haven’t really been paying attention.

VY. FOREVER.
its almost synonymous with TEXAS. FOREVER.

I’ll never forget that 4th down, end-of-game, game winning touchdown grab against the Cardinals last year. March down the field, convert a few 4th downs, and VY to KB felt like a Rose Bowl moment.

i hate that vince has an uphill fight wherever he goes. he must feel a little funny hearing all the praise for the auburn guy, but vince is who made it possible.
vince is coronado. he shows the way.

So is there a VY curse that smites USC bitches in his way?

Herm Edwards: Last year the Titans were 0-6 then the ran off six straight wins. This year they appear to be headed in the opposite direction. I’m not sure why that’s happening. But Jeff Fisher is a great coach, he’ll get this turned around.
Gee coach, I can’t figure that one out either. Why did they all of a sudden start winning when the great coach was forced to play VY and stop winning when the great coach quit playing VY?
Hmmm, let me think about it and get back to you.

Thats is unbelievably awesome. Can’t wait to see how Fisher reprimands him.
Does Moss have a catch with the titans yet?

If it wasn’t for Joe Pizarcik (sp?), no one would even know who Herm Edwards is.

Screw Jeff Fisher, and the mainstream media that falls in behind him in lockstep. While I certainly hope Adams fires the Dirty Sanchez, I feel like at this point it’d probably be better for Vince to get a fresh start somewhere else than to come back to the Titans.
Nice to see the team appears well on its way to losing the remainder of its games. Yeah, let’s get Vince out of the way and show ’em what a great coach JF really is!

I though these in game tweets from Whitlock were interesting.
Why did Matt Millen just say that bullshit about Randy Moss? Give me a break.
Beating up on VY and praising Randy Moss. Millen and Theismann r goofy. Gimme some consistent logic.
Yep, Jeff Fisher programmed Millen and Theismann tonight. Fisher should open a PR firm. No one manipulates media better.

I hate pulling against Collins because he seems like a good person. But every time he gets the start I hope he suffers a melt down. If his stat line is better than 40% comp, 100 yards, 4 ints, 6 sacks then I’m not happy. He actually appeared to have a really good night last night. (53 year old) QB of future, IMO.

I feel the same way UT-06. He seems like a good guy and is an example of a guy who can rehab his approach and be productive.

The Titans fans base might be one of the few that actually wishes they had
Jerry Jones as the owner.
How long would Jones put up with this bullshit?

I love how utterly stupid Jeff Fisher looked last night. Down 9 with seconds to go, and the fucking walrus retard spent the last seconds he had left trying to get a touchdown instead of going for a quick FG and then onside kick. What a fucking moron. I bet this idiot has never turned the old lady over on her stomach for a little doggie. Quick missionary all the way, right, Jeff, you conservative, stupid motherfucker?

Let’s not be coy: if Vince picked a baby out of a stroller and beat the attendant mother to death with said baby, the Horns base would come out in favor of Vince and rule that both the mother and baby were at fault in the incident. In other words, Jeff really needs to work on his golf game so that he can keep up with GD this spring.
by tackchevy on Dec 10, 2010 3:09 PM CST reply actions
Any idea how much support VY is getting from the former Horns on the Titans? They’ve all been quiet throughout the whole deal. I remember VY and Ahmard Hall having to be seperated during a game earlier this season.
by Horncasting on Dec 10, 2010 3:09 PM CST reply actions
Tackchevy has it right. Except Mr. Young could also baste the referenced baby with a white wine and lemon sauce, cook it at 450 for 45 minutes, and gobble it down whole, and the Horns base would still wash his car just for the fun of it and congratulate him on his masterful execution of J. Swift’s modest proposal.
And for the two Rose Bowls and national title he gave us?
That would be justice.

Not only that, I would hope that the baby died too just so that Vince’s domination would be complete.

It’s inexplicable to me how many passes Fisher has gotten from the media over his career. Not only on normal, everyday stuff (like poor gameplanning, awful clock management) that would garner criticism if other coaches did them — but he gets to state flat-out, unquestionable falsities on a near-daily basis without even a peep. It’s insane.

In the last two seasons, VY is 12-6 as a starting QB. Jeff Fisher is 1-10 with someone else starting (Collins or Smith).

FWIW, Steve Wyche from the NFL Network was on the radio today and after spending the past two days at Titans’ headquarters said that Fisher was out at the end of the season and it had nothing to do with the specific incident with VY. He went on to say that the team is fractured and his record of mediocrity was too much to justify keeping him around.
He also said that Fisher would be out of a job for about 1 minute and that many teams would be very interested. Because apparently many organizations are excited to go 8-8. Hey, if it’s a team in the AFC or NFC West, that would win the division…..
by Patrick Bateman on Dec 10, 2010 8:54 PM CST reply actions
Maybe VY should just go somewhere more productive. Can you imagine the VY magic in Chicago?
A great defense, some great running backs . . . all they need is some offensive firepower.

I’m sure Houston would snap him up. After all, Kubiak has always struck me as Fisher without the sweet, sweet ’stache and the franchise appears to be addicted to mediocrity. If your choice is 8-8 without the ’stache or 8-8 with the ’stache, you gotta choose the porn cop look everytime.

Some dude in school started going on about VY not having a “head” for the game. I head butted him until he was unconscious, and proceeded to carve VY into the limp arm attached to his lifeless body.

Hey Fisher: Is it a “man thing” to gratuitously humiliate your franchise quarterback by publicly slamming his texted apology? Grab your dictionary and head straight to the definition of “hypocrite.” And riddle me this: if leading an NFL franchise is all about maturity and accountability, how do you justify letting a pair of temper tantrums, yours and his, keep you from fielding the team most capable of winning?
The fact that Matt Millen sings the praises of Fisher is proof beyond all doubt that he should be fired immediately.
