Mike The Tiger vs. Reveille
Your open thread for the Cotton Bowl.
Fear The Hat.
Also, is Lester a Michigan Man? Does Bo Pelini want to one? Or does Bo want to go back to Baton Rouge? Is this mostly an excuse to pay homage to the LSUFreek?

Lastly, the men of Spence Park Soapbox offered their thoughts here.

Not the best quality though. It’s what I’m watching it on right now.

Thanks. I tried that link… for some reason it didn’t work in firefox but working in chrome for me.
I missed the Lyle Lovett segment, but in his defense, he is awesome.

Moose looking sharp. Kenny Albert, uh, he uh, he’s Marv’s son. Albert looks like a mortician.

What is this “Zone Read” scheme that Moose talks about?

LSU’s four possessions so far — interception inside Aggie 5 — touchdown, touchdown, touchdown.
Amazing what being able to block at the point of attack can do for your offense.

Les: a results or process guy ? Just along for the ride?
I want to shake Moffit’s hand.

Our offense is doing better than I expected, but that last interception was a killer. The D is getting worn down and we’ll need some turnovers in the 2nd half to get back in it.

LSU has more Jimmys and more Joes.
Aggies have a staff and a plan. Looking forward to possibly joining them.

hey, let’s be real here. the ags did win the 4th qtr. had the game been only 18 quarters just like that one longer, they would have dominated the tigs.

Hopefully, we got beat because they were a better team. Losing Hodges hurt, but we were never going to win giving away long TD passes. Our D is better suited to the spread offenses of the B12-2 than the SEC grind it out types. We had too many interceptions and no safety help on the deep throws. If they played a bad game and we played over our heads we could have won. That said hats off to the Mad Hatter. Maybe he’ll go to Michigan and make RichRod look good.

A&M may have faced a disappointing loss tonight, but they keep several important streaks alive. Such as:
1) for the 10th straight year, A&M has maintained their streak of not winning a bowl game. they are, however, still the reigning galleryfurniture.com bowl champions.
2) A&M has now secured 12 consecutive seasons without 10 wins. impressive.
3) A&M continues its streak of 24 straight years of not winning a Bowl game played after New Year’s Day. Congrats!
4) A&M continues to have only 5 Bowl wins all-time after New Year’s Day. This keeps the math easy for our farmer friends as these wins can still be counted on one hand. Very underrated streak.
5) with the loss, A&M moves up to 3rd worst in bowl winning percentage all-time for teams that have been to at least 30 Bowls (.406). They are topped only by our other friends at Arkansas (.355) and Texas Tech (.367). Note: Tech has played in more bowl games than A&M
6) Atm now has a 5 game Bowl losing streak, losing by 31, 35, 7, 24, and 17. They have also lost 9 of their last 10 and 12 of their last 14. Their 2-12 record over the past 20 years is the most futile bowl performance of any team, all time over a 20 year period (amongst teams that qualified in at least 10 of the 20 years).
So, not all is lost.

Speaking of streaks, don’t forget #7:
5 straight conference losses for the horns! Great streak! And it just happened, as opposed to all your ancient history smack.
