A Statistics-Based 2011 Texas Preview
No, not by me. SBNation has posted a preview of our upcoming season by Bill Connelly of Football Study Hall.
It's a great look from a statistical standpoint and what we can expect this season. Our bad luck on fumbles should turn around and our overall forecast metrics look good.
And not to beat the decaying horse, but Connelly has a separate piece detailing how Colt McCoy's passing down magic rescued our offense from its own ineptitude for a couple of seasons.
Both of these are outstanding pieces and will hopefully get HenryJames primed to read my adjusted stats update when it comes out shortly.

The McCoy part is very good. Makes me upset at myself for not appreciating McCoy to the level he deserved when he was here.

Great stuff. Bill Connelly is the guy we always hoped Huckleberry turned out to be.

Huckleberry is not the statistician BC deserves, but the one it needs….

Huckleberry does the stats jobs that Americans don’t want to.

my idea of heaven would be to have henry james strapped to a gurney with metal clamps holding his eyes open (like you might see in hellraiser) and then put all of these stat comparisons in front of him…
