I’m shocked at the attitude. Just shocked… well not really, but I will enjoy it.

Am I off, here, or are these radio guys overreacting?

Kevin Wilson is trying to change the perception that IU is doomed to always fail at football. The radio guys are overreacting and are a bunch of pansies.

Yes and Yes.
The whole thing is a train wreck.
I love it when Trudeau says: I’m gonna tell Ron Zook to pound Indiana! RAWR!!! ILLINI!!!!!

“Boy, that escalated quickly… I mean, that really got out of hand fast.”

Seeking out reasons to be combative with the media is a pretty ridiculous thing to do. I mean, it can work out okay if you are Nick Saban, but being a prick to people that buy ink by the barrel for no reason has no upside.

Yeah, Wilson was tetchy, but the sports radio guys were absurd babies.
Traditional radio is so unlistenable.

They didn’t exactly attempt to save the interview, did they.
I was disappointed when they cut him off. Listening to them go back and forth would have been more fun than listening to them bitch about him after he’s off the air.

Wilson was oddly testy, but I didn’t think he was acting over-the-top.
These two buffoons got heated far too quickly. Illini fans have a very odd sense of entitlement.

I went to an Illini board before our 90-84 win in the Garden to read up on them and it was a really strange bunch. Weirdly uninformed of anything outside of the Big 10 with an inflated sense of sporting relevance.

This week on: “When Meatheads Collide”…Kevin Wilson acts like an aggro ‘roider who caught some dude looking at him funny. And the radio dudes are just fools. You don’t talk shit about a team when that team’s coach is listening on hold. And you certainly don’t get all uppity when the coach takes offense and then hang up on him. Just epic idiocy all around.

I don’t know, I put this up there with that moron Hanlon (NY Giants VP of Communications) calling fans knuckleheads for questioning whether the team had done enough in free agency to improve. A certain professionalism from the coach would have been nice.

Wilson strikes me as trying to be the football version of Bobby Knight — but more likely is Bob Weltlich.
