BC / Recruitocosm Tailgate - Texas vs BYU
Same spot just north of the tennis courts under what Tipsy Gypsie thinks is an Oak Tree but forensic studies have determined is actually a Pecan tree.

We'll be hosting a bachelor party but the MPAA has approved this as a PG13 rated event based on early previews There will be some pretty girls on hand to make the tailgate good and we should have things rolling by 1:30 p.m. If you want to sit in a chair under the pecan tree, watch football while hired talent brings you beer and fajitas (cryopreserved from Jesus' last supper AKA leftovers from last night) and declare this to be the penultimate moment in your life, we will not argue.
The Penn State / Alabama game will be on the satellite @ 2:30 and you can hang around to watch Texas beat up on the Mormons on ESPN2 if you don't have tickets to the game. We will not be denied this time, LHN! And if you have extra tickets, we need a few (assuming the bachelors are still standing at 6 p.m.)
There will be a well-stocked cooler of beer but feel free to bring some extra libations.

Or baby oil.

I take it then that the satellite dish didn’t “grow legs” while we were in the stadium. You will probably have to pay a little more than $35 for tickets. I don’t know any BYU coeds that I can coerce in to not going.
Appreciate the hospitality last Saturday.

I’d go, but I’m allergic to pecans… and attractive women.

Yeozzzzzzah….. I think I gotta couple 5 gallon buckets of baby oil down in the basement next to my signed Marilyn Monroe poster (signed in lipstick )

Jet, I hope you are in the ballpark with your prediction. I am way worried about this game; it will say a lot about how this season will go.
Really impressed with Gray last night vs Lake Travis. Our backfield will be outstanding with Gray and Brown.
Hook-em!

I am a little worried as well, has the same feeling as UCLA last year from a physical standpoint. But on a positive note the Horns fought thru the Rice game after a poor first half, last year they never could do that.
I dont think it will be 38-6 but looking for a victory. I think we will find out alot about B. Wylies strength program in the next two games.

hooah – i missed 2010 in afghanistan, 2009 in germany and 2007 in Iraq. feels good to finally get an overload of CFB. looks like 2012 will be another missed season though. thanks alt, bin laden.

Horns have to spread the field and gas the cougars
Start with the run and make the cougs chase the backs, no need to have Texas punch the ’mons in the mouth as the coaches want.
then spread out the field with pass packages.
Gas em.
Texas 35

I’m just happy to have the game on the ESPN Player here for the 1AM start time. Keep Tipsy out of jail, though.

I’ll just assume this is today’s open thread for other games.
Auburn over MSST just proves how deep the SEC is. Such a tough conference.
ISU over IU? I know Iowas isn’t great, but Paul Rhodes has also pulled off wins against NU and UT, and almost pulled off a 2 in a row against NU. Is he still there next year if he can get them to 6 wins again, espcially considering that ISU might be begging to get into CUSA next year?

For the record I called a 1 pt win at halftime. Jesus was a nonbeliever at the time but I converted him to my belief system.

The aggregate hangover from the attending bachelor party might set a record for temporary human suffering.
Good group of guys.
Then Scipio’s brother-in-law brings four thirsty blokes from Leeds. Rugby fans taking in their first UT game. Eclectic audience, imo.
Next home game isn’t for five weeks but we’ll be in LA next week and Dallas on the 8th.
