The stakes:
1. The 14-9 Longhorns badly need a win if they have any hopes of making the NCAA Dance.
2. A&M would like to go out with some pride in a major sport against Texas. I'm sure the Aggies will show up in force at Reed Arena to root on the cause. A&M competed well against Baylor and KSU and thumped OSU. They have trouble scoring, but can defend.
3. The Lone Star Trophy thing-a-ma-jig is likely sealed with a Texas win.
4. Longhorn fans will go into a strange combination of fury and disinterest if we lose.
The game will be broadcast on ESPN. No excuses not to pull us on.
