There is speculation out on the internets that Manny Diaz has reached out to Jimbo regarding the vacant FSU DC job. Granted, there is also speculation that FSU is likely to offer Bama's DB coach the job. But nonetheless it is intriguing that his name keeps popping up. Maybe he is trying to find a soft landing spot, secure his own lifeboat off of the H.M.S. Mack Brown, or maybe his agent is good at getting his name out so it doesn't seem like he is an abject failure.
