Texas Longhorns, Inc. leads the way but many schools are struggling to keep up
Star-Telegram confirming what we already know, the Texas Longhorns athletic department makes a lot of money. What they do with it, is certainly up for debate.
Business is good for Bevo.
And 2011 was a banner year in Austin.
Yes, Texas only went 8-5 and earned a Holiday Bowl berth, but the Longhorns cashed in more than any other school in the history of college football.
We may have lost to TCU on the field but we're kicking their balance sheet's ass.
