Marquise Goodwin jumped that far breaking the record for both the conference championship and the stadium. "I popped off my longest jump of the competition on the first jump," Goodwin said in a statement. "That was big for me because I had to run over and run the 100 meters in between jumps. I knew everybody was going to come out and do well, but that jump ended up winning it so it was all good."
