The 5* prospect from Dallas Kimball will be in Austin this weekend.

2013 shooting guard Keith Frazier from Dallas Kimball will take an official visit to Austin this weekend. The Texas Longhorns host the Kansas Jayhawks on Saturday. The news was announced by the Twitter feed of the DJH5 AAU program. In grassroots ball, Frazier plays for DJH5 as well as Houston Hoops.

Texas has recruited Frazier for a long time, but seemingly backed off him this summer. According to reports, Frazier reconnected with the Longhorns coaching staff this fall. He is currently considering Texas, along with local programs like the Texas A&M Aggies and SMU Mustangs. At this point, the Mustangs are considered the clubhouse leader.

Frazier ranks 22nd nationally in the 247 Composite rankings. He led Kimball to a State Championship last year, and the Mustangs are looking to repeat as Class 4A champions for the second year in a row.

Texas currently has one prospect committed in the 2013 class, 3* point guard Isaiah Taylor from The Village School in Houston. The Longhorns are expecting an official visit from 5* power forward Julius Randle from Plano Prestonwood Christian later this season. The coaching staff is targeting a 2 to 3 man class, with Randle and Frazier deemed the top priorities.
