Well, it's official. A&M has stolen Chavis from LSU. This is despite the fact that most of us, myself included, thought it could never happen. It is a lateral move at best, and a downgrade for Chavis at worst. It does come with a few questions however.
Why didn't LSU do more to keep Chavis?
Does Chavis know something about LSU's future that we don't?
How does this affect recruiting, for both Texas and A&M?
And, long term, will Chavis work out for A&M?
Let's hope that the answer to the last question is no, most certainly not.
