Texas Longhorns Recruiting Update: Part 2

In my last fanpost, i posted an update of the longhorn recruiting on the offensive side of the ball, today im going to catch you guys up on the defensive side.

Lets start in the secondary where the most positive recruiting news has come over the past few days. The secondary already has 2 commitments from rising safety Deshon Elliott and 4 star cornerback Keivon Ramsey. Great news came however when 4 star CB Kris Boyd from Gilmer unofficially visited Texas for the first time in almost a year. Not to mention the visit caused a knee jerk reaction from A&M by offering him a schollership, but you have to wonder, did that offer come to late? More interesting news came when Newton DB Roney Elam cut LSU from his list and is now down to A&M and Texas. But the potentially best news came when 5star Kendall Sheffield announced that he wants to visit Texas. Even though Sheffield has been considered an A&M lock for months, getting him on campus is the best thing that can happen at this point. And lets mot forget about 4star Holten Hill who experts believe will land at Texas aswell. To the linebackers we go as Texas main target right now is 5star Malik Jefferson who is believed to be a battle between Texas and the Aggies, and lets not forget Camoran Townsend and Anthony Wheeler who could both wind up in burnt orange in 2016. And last but not least the defensive line which has a commitment from 3 star DE Charles Omenihu who is constantly recruiting other players to join him, most specificly DE James Lockhart who is considered a Baylor lean at this point in time. Other targets include Darrion Daniels, Kingsley Keke who are both Texas leans and its no secret they"ve targeted 5star Daylon Mack despite his commitment to Texas A&M. Stay tuned for the final part of my serious were i predict the final 2015 Texas Longhorns Recruiting class.

Be excellent to each other.
