Tate Forcier is a high school quarterback in California who is being recruited from coast to coast. His family has a website, and on it he put the actual letters he has received from colleges offering scholarships.
We’ll suspend disbelief at this point and pretend that college coaches actually write their own letters. It will […]

Everyone is focusing on the heart and fortitude of our team, and deservedly so. THEY! ARE! SPARTANS! However, if Mike Gundy had been switched out with a better and less bronze coach between the 3rd and 4th quarters, we would have lost. Man it feels good to finally outcoach someone. Chuck Long finally has someone […]

Maybe. Maybe not.
If his explanation for blowing a 21 point lead in the 4th quarter to Texas on Saturday is any indication, he is not.
“Ultimately, what it came down to, their guys made the plays in the second half and the fourth quarter and our guys didn’t,” Gundy said on Sunday.

From beautiful Stillwater, Oklahoma.
Texas needs to win this game to keep their BCS hopes alive. Stop laughing.

The Aggies haven’t won in Lubbock since 1993 which is coincidentally the last year Lane saw his penis while standing.
When asked if Aggie coach Dennis […]

Times are hard in Nebraska. Unless your offense is playing the Cornhuskers. The Nebraska defense has given up an average of 480+ yards to their last 3 opponents.
The defense actually got booed during last week’s game against Ball State.
Linebacker Steve Octavien said afterward “If they don’t like it, they don’t have to come and watch […]

I’m thinking the best parts of last Saturday’s Texas Tech-Oklahoma State game happened after it was over. Everyone’s already heard about Mike Gundy’s post game rant, but Mike Leach had his own rant going at the same time.
Gundy was trying to protect one of his players while Leach was challenging the manhood of his. Pirates […]

Someone secretly replaced the coffee that Mike Gundy normally drinks with new Folger’s Crazy. He spent his post game press conference yesterday berating a reporter about a column she wrote before leaving the room without even talking about the game. Now Big 12 coaches are allowed one press conference meltdown a year (two if you’re […]
