CJD–wasn’t John C. McGinley the ‘no cottage cheese here’ guy from NYPD Blue? The one tried (unsuccessfully, if you can imagine) to get the Caruso figure to start on a program of fitness and anabolic steroids?

I think he was eaten alive by internal affairs. While Caruso’s character stared into the distance, still not buff.

Yeah, tonight’s TO was pretty damn grim. But funny. I’ve been to dinner parties that weren’t as bad, but definitely in the same area code.

I thought 30 Rock was solid, though the Pete plot thread was pretty useless.

Best comedy and group on TV.

I am getting annoyed with Jan and Andy on The Office. Hard to like an episode with too much of both.

30 Rock for me. The office can be great when it’s doing what it does best- ironic comedy with an unpredictable pacing. However, sometimes it falls into traditional 3-beat jokes and slapstick, and is just another sitcom.

Never been much of a fan of the office or scrubs, but Earl and 30 Rock just kick ass. 30 Rock is the most consistently funny sitcom on TV since Seinfeld went off the air. Earl is uneven - it’s as if their best writer only works every other week - but when it’s on, it’s on.

Alec Baldwin is probably the funniest dude on TV. Or at least he was pre-strike.

My feelings exactly re ‘Scrubs’. Braff is just plain annoying now in a completely unwatchable manner. McGinley is a star.

An ‘Office’ spin-off? No bueno.
