Baylor had a lot of company today in terms of teams that are in desperate need of the Heimlich.

Villanova, Arizona State, Maryland, Oregon, Syracuse all spit the bit.

Baylor played an enormously stupid game. No energy for the first 65-75% of the game. Jerrells was completely out of control. Guys just jacking panicky 3s up willy nilly, and very little team play in the OTs. Colorado tried to give the game away at the free-throw line, but Baylor apparently wasn’t interested.

It could be a gigantic loss for them.

So Baylor lost to Colorado.

A&M needs to beat Iowa State tonight to solidify their bid. It’s possible that this terrible loss and the poor finish puts A&M in over Baylor if the league only gets 5 bids.
