Finals of the Hobb's tourny, best defensive performance I've ever seen. He actually moved his feet enough on one possesion to draw a blocking foul. Bibby hit em both.

Also, Andy's Dad, could you tell the story about when Andy's brother held Mike Bibby to 43 points in high school?

A few quick notes from the CMA's last night:

- George Strait noddingly approved of hot, wet teenage girls as Taylor Swift took a shower on live TV for 5 million NASCAR fans.

- Garth Brooks has been MIA for a few years, but he still has ugly shirts in his closet.

- Trisha Yearwood ate K.T. Oslin.

- There was a guy in a band called Sugarland that was wearing a spray painted straw hat, grounds for an ass kicking anywhere north of Tulia.

- The most talented country music singer has an earring, dresses like Jon Bon Jovi and is married to Nicole Kidman.

- Reba McEntire still looks the same as she did in 1988 and still has bad jokes.

Also, the odds were released for which female country singer will be arrested for DUI and possession of methamphetamines within the next 10 years:

Kelly Pickler - 2:1, beauty school dropout, no shit

Taylor Swift - 4:1, she keeps getting sluttier by every calendar day

Miranda Lambert - 10:1, a wild card with marginal talent, could definitely see her career going nowhere in about 5 years

Lee Ann Rimes - 40:1, although cocaine would not be a shocker here

Carrie Underwood - 75:1, seems like she has some tools for staying power

And now you know....the rest of the story.

I grew up in the Mississippi Delta listening to a radio 12 hours a day while driving a tractor.

God Bless Paul Harvey.

"Unbelievable".

I once wrote a song while running a rotary hoe on my grandfather's John Deere. Something I like to call " The Green Tractor Blues ". Tried to sell it to John Prine. He recorded "Paradise" instead. Tried to sell it to Bob Dylan, no go. Wound up selling it to Barry Manilow and he tweaked it a little , changed the title , and recorded it as "Mandy". Maybe some of you remember it?
Anyway, I still have the rotary hoe and the John Deere and John Prine got throat cancer while performing "Paradise". Seems to be a moral in there somewhere.
