Blecchh!! Trading Harper for Rey Hill is like trading a Barry Bonds baseball card for a signed Babe Ruth and Ty Cobb. Harper and Big Al were sorely missed. Then take away Grfiin from special teams and we have been rendered codless.
It still hurts.

After a pretty big hit early in the game (which he took standing in the pocket) Vince walked off the field with a pretty noticeable limp. I'd say it's safe to say the quad still bothers him some.

I somehow don't see him having a good passing day against one of the best secondaries in the league Monday. Luckily their run defense is a sieve.

I heard Mike Ditka discussing Vince on the radio yesterday. He thinks the injured quad is still on Vince's mind, limiting his likelihood of improvising, which is obviously a big part of his game. I don't really know if that's true or not, but it's certainly not the only issue.

And then Ditka called Vince a "50% completion QB at best", which is silly, given that Vince is just under 61% completion rate this year, so take what Ditka says with a grain of salt.

You are being much too kind to Chow. Tennessee drove down the field two possessions in a row out of the no huddle shotgun to cut it to 8. They get the ball back down one score and go I formation. Sack. Fumble. F me, game over. Don't know if that was Fisher or Chow's decision. But it sucked. Not that Tennessee was likely to win, but it was apparent at that time that their only chance was to keep running the O out of the spread.

It was just one of those games. Poor O-line play, turnovers, bad game plan, it happens. The team didn't play well and Del Rio's staff coached circles around Fisher's.

Vince is definately having some struggles. It is part Chow, part worst receivers in the league, and part Vince. Since we all know what Vince is, I'm guessing it is more parts 1 and 2 than 3. I will always give him the benefit of the doubt, however. Monday night game should bring out the best in him, primetime always does. If he plays poorly then I don't know what the hell is going on.

LOL - great read. If Fisher were ice cream, he'd be vanilla ice milk - probably the lame Kroger brand.
