Aggie AD to discuss Franchione’s fanzine

Texas A&M coach Dennis Franchione had a VIP Connection newsletter that he emailed to about a dozen supporters willing to pay $1,200 a year. In it he offered insights on current players (’Earvin Taylor is too slow to play receiver. Who knew putting on 40 pounds would slow him down?’) and recruiting (’Sam McGuffie is a wigger. The lure of the Fuck Lion is strong.’)

While being a source of great comedy, it might also be against NCAA rules or something. Aggie AD Bill Byrne is holding a press conference today to answer questions about it.

Franchione has ceased sending out the newsletter and now provides information in his weekly Tiger Beat column only.

The lure of the Fuck Lion is strong.f

I don’t know what this means, but I can’t stop laughing at it.

    “Sam McGuffie is a wigger.”

I don’t think that is politically correct and I’m not sure you can even say that on the intraweb, but that is hilarious.

Thanks. The link, the picture and your reference kill.

Franchione, already embattled because of his won-loss record, has taken even more heat for setting up the newsletter. The $2 million a year coach has said he used the money from the VIP Connection to offset cost for running his own Website.

This is the funniest thing about it to me.

I’ve never operated a website before, but something tells me that it takes less than $20,000 per year.

    Maybe just Fran’s and hornfans.com.

I’m not so sure. It is only a matter of time before HenryJames plasters this site with Hentei Ads to cover escalating costs of diapers.

Expense report for CoachFran.com. Although I’m not sure exactly what the ‘Hospitality Game Day Tent’ is, I will insist that BarkingCarnival get one.

You already have a “Hospitality Game Day Tent”. It’s called your basement. You keep the lube and the Highlights for Children down there.

My basement isn’t only just open on Saturdays though.

Giving out private opinions about recruits to big money boosters tells me that you are directing boosters to guarantee “employment” when recruits come to that chicken fucking shithole of a school..
