The good thing this season is I've been able to watch most of the home games thanks to the video link on texassports.com. Free, and not an entirely bad effort (except for the cameraman accurately tracking any ball hit to the outfield). The trade-off is Bill Little still handles the color (1981, holla), and I got to watch two very frustrating efforts in the Stanford losses. Was it 4 innings in a row at one point we ended hitting into double plays? Meh. The San Francisco Giants have the music issue. They play stuff so random that I can only hope issues of failed sobriety are involved. The Dunkirk line was the funniest thing I’ve read all day.

We only used two left handed pitchers this weekend. Walker can't find the strike zone. Keith Shinaberry threw two pitches on Saturday and got a guy to ground into a double play. He retired the first 4 guys on Sunday before he got hit hard. He needs to keep everything down and away against left handed batters. Forgot about Brandon Belt who pitched an inning on Sunday. Stanford's run production the rest of the weekend really made me appreciate Austin Woods's performance Friday. Disch-Falk's a pretty damn nice place to watch a game now although I'd much prefer the century old organ rhythms to the hokey shit they pipe in.
