Bill Callahan calls Tom Osborne a “f—”

The situation in Nebraska just keeps getting better.

A Nebraska student has written a book about the history of the football program. He had help from a former trainer, Doak Ostergard. Ostergard provided some juicy stories, some of which were excerpted in the Daily Nebraskan yesterday.

Ostergard told a story of Callahan being upset with Osborne after a phone call between the two men. Callahan accused then congressman Osborne of “trying to run things from Washington.” The last thing Nebraska needs is those fat cats in Washington telling them what to do! He then referred to Osborne as “that crusty old f—.”

‘Can’t you see that man is a n—?’

Callahan didn’t limit his insults to Osborne. He also didn’t much care for the local newspapers according to Ostergard.

“F-ing people need to get a life,” Callahan said after reading a newspaper story. “Why don’t they go read a book or get lost in the Sandhills? I’m going to get me a real newspaper. I’m going to read the New York Times.”

One should seldom refer favorably to the New York Times in Nebraska.

But Callahan doesn’t harbor any ill will toward Ostergard.

“I think he’s a fine man,” said Callahan. “We wish him the best.”

“F—.”

Callahan is the only bigger idiot than Fran in the Big 12. He was an idiot with the Raiders.

    You stay classy, San Diego.

Someone wants his buyout money & doesn’t want to be jacked about by having to coach 5 more games before he gets it. Look for Callahan to pound a few Coronas & call a press conference to publically invite Nancy Osborn to a room at the Embassy Suites for porn & jello shots.

i sure hope he called him a crusty old fuck. because i would hope, in this day and age, that “fart” would not need to be edited by any publication.

HenryJames censoring anything is one of the widely accepted signs of the impending apocalypse. Another is Kansas being ranked higher than Texas in football.

    ack!

    Head for the hills.

Never I have I wanted more to watched a meaningless football game than A&M/Nebraska this weekend. What a train wreck, someone is going to get their ass kicked.

In this weekend’s games, A&M/Nebraska is almost as irrelevant as Miami/FSU.

Imagine saying that 10 years ago.

I was wondering who, if anyone, still thought the Times a good paper.

I’m wondering why Callahan wants to go out in a burst of flames? Quit already you useless piece of shit!

Well at least Texas can practice their running game this Saturday and drive through those big gaping holes.
