Children of the Osborne
Former Nebraska coach Tom Osborne is returning to the university as interim Athletic Director.
“I’ve spent the majority of my life working with the athletic department at the university, and I want to do what I can at this point to continue in the pursuit of excellence that has been previously established,” Osborne said.
Osborne recommended his predecessor, Steve Pederson, for the job, but Pederson pissed him off when he fired Frank Solich. So now Osborne can return the favor by shitcanning current coach Bill Callahan.

Maybe he’s thinking that if he cans Callahan he’ll get that extra five percent of the vote next go-around.

speaking of votes….as AD I hope he cant vote in the coach’s poll. Even if he can’t, I’m sure it will be a slam dunk part of the new coach’s deal.
