God tries to help Notre Dame
Notre Dame hosts USC tomorrow in what should be a low scoring yet easy Trojan win. The only hope the Irish have is if the Trojans don’t show up.
They almost didn’t.
Southern Cal’s chartered flight had some very tense moments last night. A severe thunderstorm caused the plane to plummet at one point during the flight.
Quarterback John David Booty said, “It wasn’t the worst flight I’ve ever been on, but it was definitely the biggest drop.”
If they lose to Notre Dame, their drop in the polls will be just as big.

The pilot must not have had 30 days to prepare for the storm.

Would I have been wrong to title it ‘We Aren’t Marshall?’

“it was just the gravitational pull as they flew over mangino’s house.”
I thought it was the state of Oklahoma. I guess having two such magnitudes of gravitational forces side by side is like a binary star system.

Greg Davis was the pilot

If Greg Davis had been the pilot, they would have stopped 42 times between LA and South Bend.
