That’s why I used pass efficiency defense and not just passing yards allowed.

For example, UTEP gave up 434 passing yards to New Mexico St and 409 yards passing to Tulsa. Tech gained 484.

Rice gave up 481 yards to Tech and 423 to Baylor.

These are bad passing defenses that aren’t being skewed by Tech’s output.

Why don’t you take the games they played against TT out of the equation. The Raiders yardage against these teams prob makes up about 1/3 of their pass yards allowed.
