Is Matt Stafford still fat?

The Georgia roster might still list him at 237 pounds, but according to Atlanta Journal-Constitution writer Chip Towers, Stafford is no longer a fatty:

“On that note, I ran into quarterback Matthew Stafford and spoke with him very briefly. From my perspective, he appears to be in the best condition he’s been in since he’s been at Georgia. All I could go by was looks but there was virtually no sign of the pudginess that’s always been part of Matt’s physique. He actually looks taller.”

Taller? Kind of reminds me of that scene in ‘Mask’ when Eric Stoltz looks at himself in that funhouse mirror and looks normal. I wonder if Stafford ever did that?

    I own every variation of this phrase. Mr. Towers will now hear from the best lawyer who will accept Nike swag as payment that I’ve met since I’ve been in Austin.
