It was Hedley!
Damn. Comedian Harvey Korman passed away yesterday at the age of 81. He took a part of my childhood with him.
Best known for his work in Blazing Saddles and the Carol Burnett Show, Korman was a gifted comedian who was equally adept at playing the straight man. His work with fellow comedian Tim Conway is as good as is gets.
He will be missed.

I’ve only met one girl named Lilly, but I definitely did the whole “Lilly, Lilly, legs, Lilly” routine.

Brilliant comedian. He and Tim Conway would bust my Dad up in laughter, and I always appreciated them for that.

My mind is aglow with whirling, transient nodes of thought careening through a cosmic vapor of invention.
