James Henry can play multiple positions, commit multiple crimes
The Texas DB/RB went and got himself arrested last night according to KXAN.
His crimes?
Obstruction or retaliation and tampering or fabricating physical evidence. I think the charges depend on whether he was a running back or defensive back when they were committed.
I’m just glad all the on the field distractions are not preventing our players from reaching their goal of winning the Fulmer Cup.

It’s a shame when just a few bad apples or maybe a dozen or so get in trouble with the law and give the whole program a bad name.
September 18, 2007 at 7:23 am
I have no words.
September 18, 2007 at 7:25 am
I think it’s important you don’t judge 85 players by the actions of only 45 of them.
September 18, 2007 at 7:26 am
Good kids who retaliate.
September 18, 2007 at 7:28 am
Your posts are about as quick as your wit. Plus my title was way better.

come early, be loud, wear your orange jumpsuit
September 18, 2007 at 7:29 am
I have this shirt with the Oklahoma: A Sordid Story SI cover on the front that I’ll just have to burn, I guess.
September 18, 2007 at 7:44 am
The only thing that was further reinforce our need for a new staff would be if half the current recruiting class decommitted.
September 18, 2007 at 7:56 am
Good kids who felonate?
September 18, 2007 at 8:17 am
Good kids who incarcerate?
September 18, 2007 at 8:20 am
“I went over there and whooped all them niggas last night, fool,” Henry is quoted as saying in the recording, according to the arrest affidavit.
September 18, 2007 at 8:21 am
Depends on your definition of “good”. Apparently they aren’t even good at being criminals.
September 18, 2007 at 8:27 am
According to the most recent update from the AAS, it appears the appropriate mantra is…
Good kids who intimidate.
September 18, 2007 at 8:50 am
i heard that when mack was told of this he started clapping uncontrollably…
September 18, 2007 at 8:52 am
“I went over there and whooped all them niggas last night, fool.”
They need to put that on a rubber bracelet.
September 18, 2007 at 8:55 am
I think I prefer “bitches deserve to get kicked”
September 18, 2007 at 9:02 am
Now we’re talking. Hell, I’d prefer “Bitches deserve to get kicked” as a team motto over “Just do the little that you can” or whatever last year’s was.
September 18, 2007 at 9:03 am
What happened? Was he with Robert Joseph on that fateful night in July or did he just threaten those “victims”?
September 18, 2007 at 9:04 am
Better link up on ESPN.
September 18, 2007 at 9:04 am
What about “I’m James Henry, bitch”?
September 18, 2007 at 9:05 am
No, Teardrop those were not victims, those were clearly bitches. He was obligated to treat them as such.
September 18, 2007 at 9:13 am
Holy crap. Are the wheels officially off this wagon yet?
September 18, 2007 at 9:15 am
Not sure Mack should be throwing out this challenge after 11 arrests in 20 months. I get really tired of having smoke blown up my ass.
“I will put our long-term record of character up against anyone, and that’s why these situations upset me so much.”
September 18, 2007 at 9:19 am
I bet I could find a college football program with less than 11 arrests over a span of 20 years, much less 20 months. Not a good bet for Mack, and not a good time to bragging on our character.
September 18, 2007 at 9:26 am
I’m posting on this thread to spite Huck.
September 18, 2007 at 9:27 am
The ghetto culture runs deep on this squad.
They are slowly weeding themselves out though. Pardon the pun.
The problem is that the players like playing wanna-be gangsta more the playing football.
Sipping lean, smoking weed, robbin’, stealin’, thuggin’, beatin’,
“They don’t know how many players we have who are gangsta.” - Vince Young
They do now.

i wish the two other guys with OJ the other night in vegas would have been bobino and killebrew…
September 18, 2007 at 9:37 am
James Henry has motivated Henry James to bring his A game.
September 18, 2007 at 9:43 am
I blame this all on Sally. She hasn’t hugged any of the players since January 4, 2006.
September 18, 2007 at 10:16 am
Why isn’t Eddie Ramirez taking the blame for all of this? Have we lost our good fall guys to graduation?
September 18, 2007 at 10:30 am
I blame all this on Scally.
September 18, 2007 at 11:36 am
the ut football / austin police conspiracy grows deeper as they carry out their sinister plan to free up some scholarships

pre-vince, most of us supported mack because though he would lose the occasional wtf games, you forgave him because he ran a clean program and presented a great image for the university.
but now, exposed again for the lack of coaching in his coaching, the current string of arrests and unbelievable bad reputation that is given towards texas, i am now of the we need a change mentality. while i support mack as a good honest person, his shortcomings are becoming a liability for the team and the university.
instead of trying to say it is a case of a few bad apples (i truly don’t understand how he can say that over and over again with each arrest) and that he would compare our stellar men to anyone in the country, how about he man up and say yea, me and my administration f’ed up and that we need to right the ship. no more excuses.
i mean, if we had all these arrests and were playing amazing ball, it would be one thing. but we suck to date and our rap sheet is getting a big is greg davis’ mythical playbook. not a good sitatuion to be in.
we need a change.
September 18, 2007 at 12:13 pm
We don’t need a change, just a Bill Little column.
September 18, 2007 at 1:07 pm
“She hasn’t hugged any of the players since January 4, 2006.”
She probably didn’t want to get caught up in any RICO investigations.
September 18, 2007 at 1:44 pm
Little will probably write about how a great it is that 80% of our players are not under indictment.
September 18, 2007 at 6:50 pm
Can we be punished for failing to comply with Sarbanes-Oxley?
September 19, 2007 at 6:11 am
13% (11 of 85) of the scholarship roster isn’t “a few bad apples” - it’s a culture.
I wonder if I’ve been banned from Hornfans yet?
September 19, 2007 at 12:15 pm
James Henry = Henry James
September 19, 2007 at 12:17 pm
Your math is wrong
James Henry
