Kasparek throws no hitter.
Longhorn junior Ken Kasparek pitched a no hitter tonight against Texas State.
The junior righthander struck out nine and only allowed one batter to reach base.
It was the 20th no hitter in Texas baseball history, and the first since Adrian Alaniz no hit Oklahoma in 2005.

Congrats to Ken.
Did we win the game?

No, we lost on a hit batter, wild pitch and 2B error on stolen base.

The Armadillos, huh? That Sinbad’s a tough out.

In order to avoid confusion with Sinbad, Bakula, and the gang, I will always refer to them as Soutwest Texas State Teachers College University Place in San Marcos With Easy Stupid Girls.

I like the name you came up with Nordberg, but I always called it Slumpbuster State. However, after careful deliberation, I believe my term runs the danger of incorrectly implying a certain lack of aesthetic appeal in the lovely denizens of those halls of academia, so I’m going to start using your name.

Perhaps the Bad New Bevos have turned a corner?

I was lucky enough to attend the game. Kasparek was unhittable. He was a hit battsmen away from a perfect game. I missed the first inning or two, and there was supposedly one great defensive play by one of our infielders, but besides that it was all Kasparek. He made Soutwest Texas State Teachers College University Place in San Marcos With Easy Stupid Girls baseball players look stupid.
Uhh, I mean he made them look foolishly inept with baseball bats. The name on their jersey made them look intelligence deficient.

And he followed that up with 8 scoreless innings against Baylor on Sunday.
