Oklahoma State offensive coordinator Larry Fedora is expected to be named the head coach at Southern Miss as early as today. ESPN is reporting it with the usual ’source close to the situation.’

Baylor coach Art Briles hired Penn State safeties coach Brian Norwood as his new defensive coordinator. They were both on the Texas Tech staff in 2000.

Something tells me that the lack of announcement on Fedora means someone is getting cold feet. Maybe Greg Davis threw his hat in the ring and So Miss is scrambling.

The name is Larry Fedora not Lee Fedora. He is a friend and I wish “Fedo” well at USM.
