Quote of the day
“I want the players to take the personality of their coach.” Will Muschamp in today’s Statesman.
And he’s not talking about Mack Brown’s personality.
Other good stuff from the article:
“Intensity overcomes talent.”
and
Regardless, Muschamp will put the best 11 on the field without consideration for age, classification or apples for the teacher. He is all business and tolerates no missteps.
Beasley certainly understands that better now. After he displeased the boss on one play, Muschamp lit into him, exploding, “Get your (butt) ready to play.” A few seconds later, the coach screamed, “Jog off the field, 7.”
Accountability and discipline on only the second day of practice?

With this guy on board last year, we may very well have beaten OU and a&m and played in the MNC game. Not saying we would have, but our schedule was cake, and there’s just no excuse in the world for giving up 38 to aggy.
