Burnt Orange Nation Swilling Lighter Fluid?
That can be the only explanation for this horrendous take:
If you’ve read this site for any period of time, you know how I feel about Chris “Priest Holmes Returns” Ogbonnaya.
I’ll say it one more time: I see some Priest Holmes in Chris Ogbonnaya. That is, of course, a very good thing.
Chris Ogbonnaya bears no resemblance to Priest Holmes in any concievable way save for the fact that they are both carbon-based lifeforms.
This is actually bad news as it suggests that we’re coaching our RBs like our LBs: Experienced mediocrity trumps inexperienced talent. Ogbonnaya has a role in our goalline and short yardage packages. That’s it.

Unless someone wants to show me a picture of Priest sodomizing Ogbonnoya, I haven’t see any of him in Ogbonnoya either.

I see some Jamelle Holloway in Colt McCoy.

You seem to quick to dismiss Chris, to me. The kid picks up his 4-6 yards in the way that we’ve sorely been lacking.
And Priest Holmes’ best quality was his ability to operate in short and goal-line situations.
Why the negativity?

PB:
For the reasons stated in my initial post. I enjoy BON, by the way. Every fan is entitled to an irrational love for an average player.
Mine was Chris Robertson. Ha. That’s funny in retrospect.

Certainly possible. I’ve latched on to Ogbonnaya. He’s officially one of My Boys.
I’d love to be right on this one.

I would too. I’d love a physical presence there to spell Charles - who I’m reluctant to give more than 20+ carries per game consistently.

Great story about Chris. Quality kid.

I’d expect nothing less from a kid from Strake Jesuit.
