Hawg, Interrupted

Our next football will be played against Chase Clement rather than Inclement.

The game has been officially shitcanned until September 27th.

Since the Austin City Limits festival is the same weekend, good luck in getting a hotel room.

Of course the Hog fans travel in their double-wides so it shouldn’t be a problem.

Well…on the bright side there is some good football to watch this weekend and looking ahead to September 27th Texas may have a more favorable tv coverage.

I wonder if they’ll schedule a morning 11:00 game, because of the ACL fest?
It would make more sense for the APD, so they get a full day of cracking skulls and power trips.

srr50 - we don’t trade in those sorts of cheap stereotypes here.

Mockingbird is right. USC/Ohio State now has my full attention.

Mockingbird, please do not mock the APD here at the award-winning Barking Carnival.com. Those of us who post here would rather not have to deal with the repercussions.

I think USC will destroy the Bucks. You need to preview this contest.

Will the BIG 10 become a sucking vortex?
    Purdue v Oregon
    OSU v USC
    Wiscy v Fighting mustaches

I’m terribly sorry, and if I have offended any of our hawg bretheren, well, the 27th is my birthday, and I will be more than happy to invite them to my post-game celebration.

At least now they won’t have to give the A&M game the night spot (national coverage) on ABC on teh 27th. I’m not trying to be nasty but they don’t need to have another horrendous game televised for all the world to see.

Damn. I need to find another blog to read.

Apparently, not many ACL Festival attendees drive Winnebagos and overnight at Good Sam’s Campgrounds, and there is more than adequate “lodging” for the pig callers to call home when they visit Central Texas. The Hogs now get to place us between home games - Alabama the weekend before, the Florida Gators the weekend after. So I look forward to us being Loss No. 2 on what will surely be a 3 game losing skid for my least favorite team in the world not from Oklahoma.

Maybe we can get the Drive By Truckers and Beck to play halftime.

As Nordberg pointed out to me, now the Pigs get Bama, Texas, then Florida with no break. I hope they are stocked up on lube.

    Speaking of me…

I agree with Scipio. No need for those kind of sterotypes here (although to be fair, most of their fanbase probably couldn’t read it anyway).

    Bat guano!

Right after that announcement, the models shifted to the east.

    Watch Austin get zero rain.

Judging by the PC crap on this thread, I think the blog could use some, too.

I speak not to disprove what Brutus spoke,
But here I am to speak what I do know.
You all did love him once, not without cause:
What cause withholds you then, to mourn for him?
O judgment! thou art fled to brutish beasts,
    And men have lost their reason. Bear with me;
My heart is in the coffin there with Caesar,
And I must pause till it come back to me. Oh for rough swine and jellied coffers.

Arkansas, Why? August 15th, 2007. There was a dream that was Rome. I can only whisper of it now.

Why cant we just move it up or to another city? Houston moved their game to Dallas LSU moved their game up the other week. Is Deloss retarted (I ment PC retarted.)

Hmmm, we still have our 7th home game, it was just moved back two weeks… as opposed to playing in Dallas or Arkansas. I’m going with “not retarded”.
